Kelly Michelle Stables, born in St. Louis Missouri was the stage performer for The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia gave her a Bachelor of Arts (with distinction) in Theater and Communication. When she moved from Missouri to Los Angeles in 2004, she took part in theater arts, including acting and directing in over 20 musicals. Some of these productions include The Little Foxes Brady Bunch : The Musical Peter Pan as part of the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. Kelly also began landing film and television roles, while continuing her improv studies at The Groundlings. Her distinct voice and diminutive size has enabled her to play a variety of colorful characters. She was known to the public for taking on the character of the villainous Samara alongside Naomi Watts, in The Ring 2.
