
The band toured Boston's club circuit , being led by Frank Connelly their first manager. They began to work with Steve Leber, David Krebs, New York managers. The band's debut album, which was called "Eponymous" was released in the year 1973. They signed a record deal in the year 1972. It was followed in 1973 by Get Your Wings. Toys in the Attic. Rocks. and Draw the Line. These albums helped Aerosmith become famous internationally. The albums that inspired them were the basis of legendary hits , including "Dream on", Walk This Way as well as "Sweet Emotion". Aerosmith's first five albums were all multi-platinum. Toys in the Attic and Rocks have been considered as among the top albums of hard rock ever. The group began to experience the effects of the hectic life of touring, recording with each other, and consuming drugs as the decade advanced. In their notorious use drugs and stimulants, Tyler and Perry were sometimes called the Toxic Twins. Aerosmith Behind the Music and many videos released by Aerosmith illustrate their bond. Tyler was apparently more dedicated to the group, and seemed to dislike Perry's passive attitude. Perry, however, loved Tyler's love for the females she dated. The gradual decline of Aerosmith was most likely because of the tension between Tyler and Perry and their former friends.
